Some words on working with rope lighting:

  • 1) Rope lighting can be run either on 110v AC power (what you have in your house) or 12v DC power (what you get out of a car battery).  For the most part, you can choose one or the other, based on which connector you choose.

  •
  • 2) Each length of wire needs to have a separate connector, which you can order below, in either the AC or DC variants.

  •
  • 3) What if you want to be able to run on both AC & DC?  That's simple!  Order the DC connector, and then order the Driver Max power supply!  This is a regulated power supply that will attach a DC connector to your 110 house current, allowing you to disconnect the batteries and run off your house current.
