AC drivers
This section shows all the drivers specifically designed for more permanent installations, where standard house current is available. Connect the driver to a length of wire, add batteries and you’re ready to glow.There are drivers on this page for any length of wire up to 330 feet. Please select the driver appropriate for your needs. These drivers require standard house current, rather than being powered by a battery. All solder joints are done in house by trained EL wire engineers. We use the copper-foil method of soldering, as described in our tutorials, rather than soldering the angel wires directly to the pigtail lead. It takes a little longer but we believe this is a worthwhile step as the joint is much more durable!

Small AC Driver
The Small AC Driver lights 1- 20 feet of Cool Neon wire & comes with one Plug & Play connector set. It has a toggle switch with constant on, off, slow blink (2.5 per second), or fast blink (4 per second) modes. It is powered by wall current, & plugs right into the wall with no additional AC power supply needed! This driver comes with a driver side connector pre-soldered to the driver so you can easily plug in a ‘wire side connector’, ‘Y-connector,’ or
‘plug-and-play extension.’ Note: It is normal for all drivers to make an audible pitch when turned on. (Dimensions: 1” x 2 .3” x 1.6”)
AC Variable Speed Driver (160 Feet)
Brand new! Our AC Variable Speed Driver (160 Foot) lights 1- 160 feet of Cool Neon wire & comes with one Plug & Play connector set. It has a switch on the front with constant on, off or blink. While in blink mode, the speed of the blink rate can be advanced from a slow blink rate (1 per second) to a strobe rate using the variable speed dial on the unit. It is powered by wall current, & plugs right into the wall with no additional AC power supply needed! Has under load protection so it will not burn out if no Cool Neon wire is attached. (Dimensions: 1.8” x 3.2” x 5”)
AC Variable Speed Driver (330 Foot)
Brand new! Our AC Variable Speed Driver (330 Foot) lights 1- 330 feet of Cool Neon wire & comes with one Plug & Play connector set. It has a switch in the front with constant on or blink modes, a knob in the front fro dimming, and has switch on the front. While in blink mode, the speed of the blink rate can be advanced from a slow blink rate (1 per second) to a strobe rate using the variable speed dial on the unit. It is powered by wall current, & plugs right into the wall with no additional AC power supply needed! Has a muffin fan for cooling and under load protection so it will not burn out if no Cool Neon wire is attached. (Dimensions: 6.5in wide, 3.75in deep, 2.75in height—-Not Including Knobs and Feet)
