Description
High Bright Long Life Wire is our thickest diameter and great for projects where you want a strong presence. It can bend over onto itself 180 degrees in about a 3 inch radius. Because this has the bright core of wire, it’s about 150% brighter than the standard gauge of wire. Because the vinyl jacket is so thick and because it uses the bright core, it is not recommended for costume uses where there is a lot of flexing, such as around an elbow or knee. This gauge of wire has a 5mm diameter. All EL wire is sold by the foot. Note that raw EL wire sold without connectors and required you to solder a connector to one end of the wire.
